Maple Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 shots (1/4 cup) of freshly brewed hot espresso

  • 1/3 cup whole milk

  • 1 tbsp 100% maple syrup

  • Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon

Directions

  1. Brew your espresso with whatever method you prefer (espresso machine, moka on the stove, nespresso, etc)

  2. If you want to warm milk over the stove, add both the milk and the maple syrup to a small pot and heat it over medium heat until it just starts to boil. Remove from heat, whisk until frothy, and pour into a mug with the brewed espresso. You can also use a handheld frother or an electric frother/warmer that will both froth and warm at the same time. 45 seconds in the microwave is also great in a pinch!

  3. Top the frothy maple milk and espresso with a dusting of pumpkin pie spice and enjoy the cozy maple-y goodness!!
